Midi on Droid

Sooo, what exactly is the MIDI protocol on the Droid - is it MIDI 16 or MIDI 32 and what type - (I believe that MIDI Type 0 (most commonly saved-out) will play natively on Droid with the installed Music Player, Type 1 (rare) will not, ,Type 1 can be converted to Type 0 very easily).

Are we hearing FM, General Midi, etc. - what the heck? Buehler?
